JNCIA: 快快樂樂考JNCIA-JunOS (JN0-101)

Juniper考試，主要有三大方向。

這三大方向都要從最基本的一個共同科目開始考起，就是JN0-101。


報名:
要在VUE報名考試。

注意的是，必須申請一個新帳號 for Juniper系列的考試。
不可延用其他的VUE帳號，比如說 Cisco的VUE考試帳號。
考試費用為100美金，但可以申請考試折價卷。
申請方式可以在考試官網查一下。


經過一個月的準備，順利通過這一科。
考試科目代號為 JN0-101
考試時間: 90Mins
題數: 65題 (單.複選)
及格分數: 65%

這一科考試有點急，因為只到二月底。
3月初開始，就更新了考試科目代號為JN0-102。
不過內容是大同小異，但拿掉了Class of Service。


準備方式:
其實Juniper官網上學習資源就相當豐富。
申請一個帳號之後，連去 Getting Started with Juniper Networks，就可以看到一些東西。

2. Junos as a Second Language
這兩份Flash動畫教材，就是JNCIA-Junos 學習教材。
3. JNCIA Study Guide (Sybex) 也是官網下載的。
這三份資料就是我主要的學習教材。

這一科的考試內容，大概包含從CCNA到CCNP(routing)的範圍。
所以等於是再一次用其他角度去復習RIP，OSPF，IS-IS(IP only)，BGP
另外Routing Policy 也很像IOS中的route-map(但更複雜)
Firewall Filters 選項也是超多，我能想像以後應用的複雜程度。

這些教材都有包括Student Guide & Lab Guide
(不過，Lab Guide 都需要Pre-configuration，所以這可能要上課才能得到了~)

這些都是很好的參考資料。

與Cisco考試不同的是，現場考完並不會馬上得知Pass or Fail。
只會知道得到分數百分比與考試哪些方向錯了幾題。
必須要等1-3個工作天，才會用E-mail通知成績。

通過之後，就可以連進Juniper - CertManager。

JN0-101 有效時間是兩年。
兩年後Inactive
三年後Expires


接下一科就是JNCIS-SP了
